  These are My Roots, My Family, My Memories, My Dreams.

  A suitcase full of memories dating back to the 1900's

  I miss the mud we used play-in way back when...

 

We used to play hide and seek, when the plants covered us from toes to teeth.

This was a game the whole community played; a greased pole full of prizes atop.

 

Behind the town a small forest there laid, anf from it's vines we swung and played.

My grandmother, and the necklace she gave me when i came out.

My Great-Grand-Aunt and the earring she gave to me.



 

My town's church, a place where thoughts and kindness were required but belief was optional.

My Great-grandfather and his son, soon to be my Grandfather and my dad; a line of clones has arrived.
May their souls rest in peace.

I miss the rain back in Mexico.

Right after it rained my street would flood, and paper boats would reign the roads.

so what i learn was to wait for the perfect lighting, I love, LOVE! the afternoon light where
everything seems magical and faeries might come out and play.

These are the shots that my camera said had the perfect lighting

so what i learned today was, RE-SHOOT!, RE-SHOOT!, RE-SHOOT! no matter how many times i took those pictures i hated them hahaha i just couldn't get the rich black i wanted or those bright whites, i always ended up with greys haha.

what i learned from Mitch Dowbrowner  is that i should pay more with the full range of grayscale, and don't be afraid of letting brights be bright and darks be dark. Also i learned that Perspective is Almost EVERYTHING! in the pictures i like.
